No Blastodisc?

Think it would work if I just crack them into a glass bowl where I can see through the bottom? I'm going to have to dig out the regular camera, I can't get a good enough picture on my phone.

The disc rotates to the top of the egg. Try my method on one you know is fertile, then try it on one in question.

Maybe, depends on how clear the glass is.
It's hard to get good pics of raw eggs.
The glare from the lighting source needs to be 'managed' in the shot composition so it doesn't cover the disc......and the focus can be tricky too.

I can't get the lighting right to get a good picture. I tried the laying them on their side for a few minutes and cracking open the bottom, all the blastoderms were right on top except hers. I tried rolling the yolk and still couldn't find a blastodisc. I'll keep watching her though, maybe it'll sort out.
