no chicks?

My broody has been sitting for 22 days and there is still no chicks? the eggs seem to be cold and no pips either, there is definitely development in them do you think they have died in the shell, should i leave them or crack one of them open and see whats going on? cheers..

I would personally leave them for a couple more days and see what happens.

I will leave them a few more days, im doubtful but hopefully they might hatch?! it is her first time hatching eggs, and she was brilliant she only got off the next for 10 minutes a day and would go back on them, but they seem to be cold..

sounds like she did everything right. Maybe they were duds. But I think there is still a chance.

I wish i didn't check them until later on in the day as the curiosity is getting to me!aaahh

I had everybody running together and split them up three weeks before she started collecting eggs''Thinking they would be all pure'', But guess what i have a silkie chick with ten pink toes!!

she's so cute, there are 4 more pipped and she only has six under her so maybe a full hatch could be on the way?!
