In the Brooder
Hello Chicken Friends,
I adopted a small two-year old flock a few months back and am learning as I go. I have wanted chickens for a few years now and am just enjoying myself!!
I adopted three that grew up together in another backyard - but am excited to say I have some on the way too
As far as I can tell (the previous owners didn't know) two look to be copper Maran and not sure about Dusty (profile pic) - thoughts are welcomed.
I can't describe how relaxing it is to watch them, and how happy it makes me to see them running towards me when I come out to greet them. I love them
I am recently retired and moved to the country and still figuring out the rest of my life.
I found this forum to be the most helpful with all my chicken needs, and am looking forward to learning more as my flock grows.
Thanks so much for sharing,
Cynthia
