10 weeks and 3 days old, meet Big Red, weighing in already at a solid hefty 4 pounds. It is the biggest of the first 6 chicks I bought. Doesn't crow yet or attempt to, still peeps like a baby, with a few soft clucks. Is it really a roo? This is the sweetest chicken, doesn't act like a rooster, but then again it has been hand raised in my house with daily attention. What breed or mix of breeds is my big bird? LoL help please, curiosity is killing me. :)

Definitely a cockerel. Roosters are often very sweet as babies and many don't act like roos until the hormones kick in. :)
Okay thanks for the info! :) It's looking like I may have to make a bachelor chicken tractor. 5 or 6 roos, and only 11 or 10 hens out of 16 babies. I love them all, can't imagine having to part with them.
