No comb, looks like bald spot

Hello, What does it mean if a chicken is 8 weeks of age and really does not have any comb forming at all. Just looks like a bald spot?

Good chance it's a pullet? I wouldn't worry about it. Either it has a pea comb, rose comb or another type of comb. My Wyandotte's comb turned black. I wasn't expecting that.
