No eggs - every spring

Ok, so I've read posts about ducks not laying eggs. None seem to have similar circumstances as I do.
I have had ducks for 4 years. Runners, khaki campbells, gold star. I have ducks of all ages. Youngest being one year.
Every spring, laying slows down to a trickle. Nothing changes, food is the same. But every spring, no matter the breed, they just slow down. The laying eventually picks up again after 2 months or so. What could be going on?

Every year Ducks molt and go into eclipse. They don't lay eggs at that time. Do you provide heat in the winter?

A little heat, yes, not tropical by any means. I don't see many feathers layinf around either. So this is normal then?

Yes...They all take a break from laying..

Great, I had friends whose parents kept ducks in the "old days" who said this never happened to them.
