No eggs for two weeks

My one girl is not laying any eggs. She will sit in her nesting box but leaves nothing. I haven’t seen any form of molting either. The temperature here in South Jersey has been mild 40-50’s. So I’m not sure if it is the weather change. Her brother which is a special needs rooster is not with her right now due to health issues. Could she be missing him? So new to all of this. First time momma to chickens. And of course I want to do everything right.

If she stays in the nest box all day long and night too she is probably broody. It is not unusual for hens to take a break in their laying cycle this time of year because of the shortened day light period.

Has she ever laid an egg?
Pullets tend to try out nests for several days before finally laying an egg.
Temperature has nothing to do with it.
I wouldn't worry.
