I have a 2.10 group of button quail. I was getting 1-3 eggs almost everyday but 14 days ago the eggs stopped and the last 6 I got were not fertile. These are all young birds on a 24% crumble.

Supply them with crushed oyster shells or crushed eggs shells and make sure they are not stressed out from prey such as pets or birds above. Also I wouldn't keep disturbing them otherwise they will not lay (disturbances also cause them stress).

What is a 2.10 group? 2 males to 10 females?

Buttons are best kept in single pairs. If you know how many females and males you have for sure then it must be something bothering them to cause them to stop laying. Stress, from being in a group, food and a few other factors could cause them to stop. I think if you are interested in raising them I would start by placing them in pairs. I have a single pair and the hen lays an egg every day almost year round. My birds are kept inside in a half tall finch flight cage and are very spoiled. High protein food, hiding places and fresh cool water are essential. good luck.

I agree with GrandmaBird, I kept mine in pairs and the hen laid great eggs. I never ate them though, too small. My other set of quails have a ratio to 2 males with 3 females and they lay perfect eggs. Your quail may be stressed because they have little space. If your quail have room to roam and are cared for properly they'll be happy as can be.
