We have a small flock of 2 yr old hens. They have been laying daily up until about two weeks ago which seems to coincide with when we put our pullets outside in their grow pen. Since that time No Eggs, not a single one..nada! They are eating and drinking and acting normally (minus trying to figure out who the new girls are), no mites/worms. Are our hens on strike because of the new additions? Is this normal? If so, how long can this go on?

I recently had my girls go on "strike" after a sudden drop in temperature.. After about two weeks they started laying sporadically and within four weeks everyone is laying back to normal.. Maybe it could be the same when they have a change of environment? I guess if they aren't showing signs of sickness you'll just have to wait it out! Good luck with your girls :thumbsup
