No Eggs...

Hello, we have 2 Chanteclars and 2 Orpingtons that have stopped laying (well we get like 1 every couple days out of the 4). They are just over 1 year old now. We live on the central coast of California where we have had a couple hot days, but this last week has been mild summer weather. Any clues? They're eating egg-layer crumbles with oyster shells mixed through...appetite seems good. No feather loss noted at this time.

I have the same problem. I have 4 BO hens and I get maybe one egg a day, sometimes none, sometimes 2.

Could be the heat if it's only been one week. Anything more serious would take several weeks to develop and see symptoms. Do they get out in the yard and eat rocks? The oyster shell is good but there are also minerals that they find in the soil/surface they peck that seems to be necessary as they age.
