I have a few RIR, Silver Laced and Speckled Sussex. All are 24 weeks old. Not one is laying yet. Is this normal? Is it the time of year? All are healthy and huge birds

I cannot answer the "normal" question. However I am a new member and we are new to having chickens. My oldest bird is 31 weeks and we have not found any eggs either.

Some guys get eggs at 24 weeks, but I never got before 32 weeks, maybe because of different breeds, but there is somethings to keep in mind, do you have a rooster with them, do they get laying pellets or feed, sunrise and sunset times, winter and summer, etc

X3 chickens really vary when they start laying, and none of those breeds are really early layers. Add in the time of year if it is winter there and nobody laying at 24 weeks isn't that unusual... a lot of pullets seem to be starting laying late this year also for some reason.
