These are my girls. Sorry it took me so long to post. Holiday had me busy. Still no eggs. and still not going in nesting boxes. I lowered the beds. I placed fake eggs in the nesting boxes. I have even bought these chick-a-dees treats. a few of the girls will squat when I reach down for them. they most recently started sitting up on the purch. They are becoming a more personable too. I guess we are slowly getting there.

The Girls are laying! We found our first egg! she laid it on the ground in the corner of our coop about a week ago. Ever since than the girls have given us 10 eggs, all brown eggs. Not sure who the busy ones are yet. We have noticed that the two white hens in the nesting boxes, however I thought the leghorns laid white eggs. Everything is coming together, just took a little longer than I thought it would. My Husband has been worried about the chickens getting cold, so he built a box and attached it to the outside of the coop. He was so excited to see they are using the new addition as well as laying eggs in there too!
