No experience with ducks

Ok, thank you. That gives me something to start with. I know that once I find out what breed I want, I want to build an outdoor enclosure. I have a man made pond in the corner of my backyard that we really don't use anymore that I think the ducks would enjoy. I know I want to fence that area off because of my dogs. I don't think they would hurt them, but you never know.
