No Feed !!!

And with the cooked eggs, be sure to give them those egg shells too!
As for the grit, sounds like they free range or have access to an area that should have small stones/grit naturally. If they find small enough stones/grit in the dirt, they'll eat and use it to help "chew" the food.

Not for long-term use, but in a pinch chickens can eat all of the following:

--any kind of bread, cracker, cereal, rice (whole grain is better when possible)
--any kind of meat, fish, eggs, beans (cook these before serving)
--cheese
--vegetables and fruits, raw or cooked
--grass and other growing plants
--eggshells
--butter, suet, fat from meat, peanut butter
--just about anything else people eat
--birdseed, cat food, dog food, whole grains (oats, wheat, corn, rice, etc)

A mix of types is much better than just one single thing. Try to be sure there is some protein, some stuff from plants, and some other stuff.

And make sure they don't run out of water. Food meant for people is often saltier than chicken food, so they may need to drink more than usual.
