No fertile eggs, I have rooster

Can you post a picture of an egg that hasn't been sat on when you crack it before you have broken the yolk? Look for a little pale spot, and take a picture of that, and if it looks like a bullseye then it is fertile. If you post a picture, we can confirm if it's fertile. Here is a pic of what I mean, sorry if it's kinda confusing, try to cut the glare in the picture to make it easier to see the spot. 😜

Since I only have 3 eggs sitting on my bench I'm not sure I want to crack one in case it's fertile... Or I might crack them and just break my 2 broodies..no point allowing them to sit when there's no fertile eggs. Although one of the broodies is my old faithful broody that is very hard to break and she's the best mumma! I love seeing her with chickys in tow! 😍

I would just pull him off the roost tonight and see if the poop is still stuck. If so, quickly snip the butt feathers off that it is sticking to. And while you are at it, snip any extra butt fluff around his vent.

He has a very flowy tail. Do you think that gets in the way?

Well last year he managed to fertilise the ladies without any issues...but perhaps since its just after Winter he might be more fluffy with winter coverage? -is that what happens anyway that chickens get more fluff for colder months? Then are they suppose to molt some extra fluff when it warms up?

He didn't particularly like me trying to take pics if his butt and kept turning around hahaha 😂
You know it took him a year to trust me enough to eat from my hand! I didn't raise him from a chick so he's always been flighty around me. My other chickens ate from my hand since chicks and much easier to handle.

Ok I cracked one of my 3 last eggs and it doesn't look fertile! See pic - I tried to turn the yolk to see the spot that's why it looks wrinkled! IMG20200915123409.jpg

He is very handsome!

Lots more floofy tail and butt fluff than my silkie. Though I'm not sure how much difference it makes if they can scooch it over to one side?

I don't have any idea about genetics but he produces all colour chicks, Iv had splash and buff, white, black, blue. He's pic of one of his chicks... IMG20200915131426.jpg

I tried to snip his fluffy butt feathers but was unsuccessful because he wouldn't stay still and I wasn't fast enough to wrap him in the towel before he thrashed around in my arms and ran away. He was not half asleep and calm as I thought he would be! He never gets handled so not use to it like my other chickens I had since hatch.
