No freckles but freckles after broody?

I have silkies, one of them started laying when she is 4 1/2 months. She go broody a month ago and she hatched 9 eggs. Now i seperated her from the chicks for around a week. She still not laying yet. Ok lets get to the next story.
I also have an silkie that looked like rooster, until he squatted yesterday, all my silkies are around 7 months. None of them crowed or anything. I have 4 of them. So he squatted and i dunno y, he has a ball comb and waddle.
My question is, could my rooster laid the egg i got today? I mean, he squatted yesterday when i walk close.
No crowing or anything from all those 4.
Or Could it be that my silkie hen broke out of broodiness and start laying again.
Another thing is, my silkie hen when she is not broody, she lays non freckled eggs.
Now i got freckled egg today, so i am guessing the rooster is a hen.


Am i wrong or what?
Please reply i need help badly..

I have hens that lay freckeled eggs some time and not other times. I don't know about silkies though.
