No fruit? Will this stop the chickens from laying?

Citrus isn't 'bad' for chickens, they just don't particularly like it. I wish they did, we have access to unlimited amounts of all sorts of citrus fruit since we live in the middle of miles and miles of orchards.

So weird that that it says this in the catalogue.....I had a feeling it wasn't totally correct. As with anything, an excess is bad. My sweet hens love their fruit treats and I feel like they would eat it in the wild. Thanks guys!

I think they would definitely eat fruit 'in the wild' because if they free range they'll eat anything they can get to.
I had my chickens in a temporary coop at my brother's house for a few days while I moved to another house. They escaped one day while no one was home and they denuded all his apple trees and grape vines. ALL the fruit and a lot of the grape leaves were just GONE. And they didn't stop laying.
