No good deed ever goes unpunished!!!

I did that...I regret it. I just couldn’t stay down & I truly regret it now (surgery was 2yrsago). Work will understand. People will understand.
I thought I was Wonder Woman. I was stubborn & stupid. Please please go slow.
I do my best not to be stubborn, but the job situation is tense to say the least. One month ago my direct manager was fired and the rest of his group was merged into an existing group. Our new manager is treating us like unwanted orphans…
I hope i can find a project where i can do some remote work from home and don't have to travel.

Sorry to hear that! I have a friend back in Germany whose story is strikingly similar to yours. Problems with her right knee over and over again until she was »old enough« to get an artificial joint. No further problems since then. I don't understand that »too young« argument that some doctors use. Have you considered to consult a another doctor?
Too late now, that was back in 95. Can't do replacement now since muscles and tendons were cut to adjust to no knee cap.
I have to be careful. Memorial Weekend we made the coop, just staining the wood and painting the trim the muscle tore. Was laid up for several months.

Dang.....:hugs
It's okay. Bad back too, leg didn't help that. I don't give up. I tend to push it too far at times. I keep our area neat and tidy. Coop is cleaned daily, new shavings once a month, dirt in run turned weekly. Hubby got me a Robi cordless leaf blower, so I don't have to swept the tree debris off the patio mats and walk way. When I mow I use the bagger so it looks nice. Yeah I'm OCD. Pretty sad when neighbors their 30's can't keep up with their mowing with a rider(lucky if they mow once a month).

You need something like an exo-skeleton for your leg, at least a knee brace! I know once the doctors have started to snip around in your joints, there's a good chance for a permanent damage! But toring a muscle with light work, there should be some gear available to protect you.

Know those neighbors all too well, one reason why we moved out of Houston! Every trash day evening i had to collect the neighbor trash out of my front-yard because they continued to use flimsy trash-bags (if at all!) and the racoons had a feast twice a week. Mowing their lawn? - Only after the third HOA-letter… Nuff! Now my nearest neighbor is a mile away - which has other implications, see this thread… Can't make everything perfect!

Yep they are lazy. Get this they asked me to mow their place. Talk about the height of laziness. We live in our 32 foot class a motorhome with a slide out. They hang clothes on the umbrella clothesline and will leave on line for a week. Several times towels were on line for 2 weeks. Of course it would rain and everything would get wet. I would sit here and laugh. They leave a window open with a ramp upto it so the cats can run in & out cause they don't want to get up and let them in & out. They are in a 5th wheel. I have watched critters go in and out with the cats sitting there watching. LeaveTimothy hay and rabbit food out in the open. Yes we are in the country, lots of critters, including coyotes. We have rat bait out. Hubby said let them feed the critters and contaminate their animal feeds. Ours are in protective containers. Have game cams out, the critters go right over to their place. They know they can't get food here, so they go where they can get it easy.
I gave them plenty of warning about their cats. They were peeing on our skirting. I am allergic to cats and it was causing me berthing problems. Told them control your cats or I will start shooting them. They didn't do anything about it. I got out the pellet gun (have pointed tip pellets), won't hit them but sure scared the hell out of them. They don't come near our place now.

Wear knee brace every day. Still tore muscle. Have to wear, leg hyper flexes. Have all equipment cane, crutches, walker, wheelchair. Even have electric scooter.

Well i'd probly mowed their place - with Sherman Tank! How impudent!:rant
Unfortunately you're right, there's nothing that a normal person could do, those parasites live on our expenses. Have a son back in Germany, 25 years old studying his third subject and refusing to take a job; guess who's paying? No: Ex-wife can't spend a cent, she's »too sick to work« (frequent attacks of acute lazyness…) so i'm paying until he's 28. No Thank you, no »get well soon« nada (He knows what's happened). - Sorry for ranting here, but i'm having a really bad day today, that damn leg hurts like it is wrapped in barb wire, it is raining again and i feel so useless! :sick Can't even get out to say Hello to the Duckies! :(
You say you have a motorhome? Just leave those miserables behind and move! I'm sure there are beautiful places with nice people in WA! I was close to having a project in the Tacoma area once and was really disappointed when the client cancelled. Have been on Vancouver Island for three weeks though, but that's the other side of the strait.
