No hatches and 30 days+very dirty eggs with broody duck!

My broody WH duck has been sitting on eggs for about 30 days. She is very determined. There is a ton of flies and knats around her eggs and some of them have very mushy yellow gunk on them and some are discolored. Do y’all think they’re alive? No hatches or pips or even peeps yet.

I’m going to give her a couple more days but I need tips on how to break her broodiness

Take the eggs, remove all feathers and bedding, and completely clean/empty the nest site. That should cause her to break.

You can use a flash light or phone to candle, but they are most likely rotten unless the day count is wrong. I just pulled eggs (at 2 weeks) from a duck. She still goes to the nest sight, but she doesn't stay long. A destroyed nest usually breaks broody hens no matter what the species.
