I have 12 chicks that are 15 days old. Heat lamp went out and no way to buy one til tomorrow. Will they be okay for tonight?

They are all huddled together, but sleeping peacefully. Not chirping excessively at all.

Have you got a hot water bottle on hand just in case they decide they are cold, or some kind of heat pack? Putting a blanket over/around the brooder will help to keep them warm as well. They'll let you know if they need some extra heat but they'll most likely be just fine.

I would think they would be alright. I've had light bulbs burn out, and the electricity goes out here in the country when we have strong storms. I haven't lost chicks overnight due to those issues. You could cover your brooder with a heavy towel to hold in warmth for them. Good luck!
