No heat

Our generator runs on propane, like our whole house. Natural gas isn't available in the boonies where we live...
So, not dependent on electricity, or gasoline. It will stop if the propane runs out. Then out two wood stove will still work, or we drain the pipes and haul water for the cattle, horses, and chickens. Hope that never happens!!!

Had to google, not what I think of as NJ....but now I see!
People think of NJ as wall to wall sidewalks like Newark or Teaneck.
NJ is the Garden State for goodness sake! And I live right where the glaciers dumped so much lovely stuff and our "great meadows"
:)gigit's a hint) are truly "Great". We are known for our Jersey corn and Jersey tomatoes! We have every feature you could want for year round vacationing. Ocean beaches, lakes, plenty of fishing, waterskiing, backpacking, camping, hunting, getting lost in the woods:(, winter snow skiing, ice fishing, historic sites, amusement parks, city shopping...all within just a few short miles of each other! I'm near so much nature yet not far from town, about 9 miles. I have Jenny Jump State Forest about 3 miles away, Delaware Water Gap about 10 miles and slightly visible if I get to a clearing. I'm in the woods with bears and bobcats and coyotes and deer and fox and....
Yup, NJ may be a joke to the rest of the country, but we like it that way, our secret.;)

I thought that was from before the nearby metropolis' might have squelched all that garden stuff. But have never really been there, tho thinks I did drive thru your corner on my way up to the Hudson Valley  was long, long ago.
