No idea what breed or gender

Hi. I'm very new to this group although I have been "lurking" for some time! I recently got some random "fertile" eggs online and only one hatched. I'm trying to determine if I have a pullet or cockerel and what breed he/she might be. 11-1/2 weeks old

I'll go with mixed breed (of what breeds I have no idea) cockerel.

HE is a black copper Marans cross not sure the other half

I'll go out on a limb and say possible Wyandotte cross.. also I agree it's a cockerel and not purebred.

Not seeing Marans cross.
Marans have white skin which is dominant to yellow.

I have to admit to being a bit disappointed that the consensus is a cockerel. I can't have roosters in the city limits and will have to send him off to my sister when he starts to crow. ANY chance he's a she? I thought he would have a larger comb by now if a rooster, but this is all new to me. In any case, I love his coloring and temperament (so far!).

The reason he doesn’t have a bigger comb is because he has a different comb type than you might be used to seeing. It looks to be rose comb or a modified pea comb both of which will stay relatively flat like that rather than the big single combs you might’ve seen before.
