No Idea what these are

Hello, I'm new to this forum and to raising chickens. I've thought about it for awhile but had no plans to move forward until my nephews girlfriend bought 5 chicks and put them in her walk in closet. When her mother found out she hit the roof so they needed a new home so I bit the bullet and took these little ones in. My problem is I have no idea what I have! Are these laying hens or roosters or what? I'll attach a picture or two and if anyone with more experience than me can identify what I have that would sure help me understand what I've gotten myself into!

You should post up close pics of the chicks - it will help others identify them easier You can also ask her where she bought them - if it was a tractor supply store or feed store you can stop by & look at the breeds being sold there. Be cautious though because sometimes chicks are mislabeled but it would be a start. Best of luck There is also great info in the learning tabs above.

Hi I have a few other pics that maybe will help. They all have 4 toes and the two that are the same (yellow head with grey wings) have some feathering on their legs. They were bought from a farmer when they were a day or two old and the sex and types are not known. Any help would be appreciated.
