No is it really a roo?

I was thinking this brahma mix (so I’m calling it) was a hen. No comb hardly at all and hasn’t crowed…..UNTIL this morning she was crowing a very sad crow so is she really a he? I’m still hoping she’s a hen that crows but I fear I’m wrong.

How old? I’m thinking cockerel but you can always hope!

Definitely, 100%, without a doubt, a cockerel

That is definitely a cockerel. Red patchy shoulder, huge wattles, saddle and pointy hackle feathers coming in.
