Timmy went in, and there, in a corner, was Bark! Bark was safe! Timmy went over to him, and tried to get him to come.
Bark didn't move, But just opened his eyes, and spoke" i am old now, and might not make it, thank you timmy for saving me" and then, with all his might, He hoisted himself up to timmy's back, and Timmy, with tears in his eyes, went to the barnyard.

He plopped Bark down on the hay, and curled up around him, and stared, terrified that Bark would pass.

Lilly ran up to them and cried out "is he ok?" worried what the answer might be

no, Timmy sniffled. Bark has been our friend, and its his time. everyone gathered around, and stood silent.
