No longer interested in crumble?

My cheeps just turned 3 weeks old today. I’ve been noticing they are really not very interested in their food lately, especially the last 4 days or so. The bowl of crumble just sits there for a long time, they used to devour it. I gave them a boiled egg just now and they went savage! Everything seems in order... has anyone else had chicks slow down on their feed around this time? Thanks.

Mine have always increased feed consumption as they grew.
Is it possible the feed is old or moldy?

Are you giving them other feed other than the crumble?..That could be the issue too..?

Are you feeding other snacks? Chicks will stop eating crumbles if other food is available. Like kids who eat candy instead of a good meal.

X2 to both previous posts. IMO, 3 weeks is too early to mess up nutrition with treats and supplementation.

Actually wetting feed for Chicks is not good..They are not Ducklings..

send any leftover treats to my flock, they will happily consume any and all of them!

@chickens really and I will have to agree to disagree on the wet feed I make both wet feed and dry crumbles available free choice for my chicks and adults. They get both from day 1

Actually, I use Purina pellets, and when they get bored eating those, I crush them! Bon -Appitite!
