No more eggs

What happened. I have 7 chicks and used to average 5 eggs a day. Now, I get 1 to 2 per day.

At this time of year it’s quite natural for egg production to slow down, especially if you have hens rather than pullets, it can be due to moulting or daylight hours decreasing.

How old are they ? They may be going for their scheduled break in the laying cycle and annual molt.

As mentioned, it's likely the time of year -- less sunlight every day and the annual molt. My crew of chickens and runner ducks were producing 13 to 17 eggs a day. Once in the past week, I got six, and twice
I got three. My house chicken, who was producing a lovely blue egg about six times a week, hasn't laid in a week, and her crate looks like she was the big loser in a pillow fight.
