I like to add some DE and Calf Manna in their feed. Calf Manna is around 24 % protein if I remember correctly. Also you can use Game bird finisher this is high in protein around 20-24%. The DE works as a natural dewormer so parasites are not a problem. I will also put some down where they love to dirt bath which helps with the external parasites. I have noticed that the DE as well as the calf manna works great for helping the feathers grow back faster which shortens the molt.
