No more free ranging

My 9 yr old hen used to love Roundup! She was always free-ranging. Whenever I sprayed the weeds coming up on the brick patio, she'd eat them. Somehow she loved them only with roundup dressing. I thought it would make her sick at least, but it never did. Did it for years -

Crossbow is a great product for all broad leaf (poison ivy/oak), but WON'T kill the grass. I wait until a good rain happens before letting the ladies into the treated area.

Check your local feed store for a product called pasture pro its a spray that will kill all broad leaf plants but wont kill grass its made to use on pastures with grazing animals as long as it is dry it wont hurt animals.. The weed killer in it i 2-4D works great I use it all the time with horses and goats in pasture. good luck

A solution of vinegar, soap, and salt can kill many weeds, even poison ivy.

OR

Any herbicide from Walmart, TSC ACE.....

Do you have a recipe or ratio for mixing this solution? It sounds great!

Natural weed killer

• 1 gallon of white vinegar
• 1 cup of table salt
• 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap

The natural weed killers work best when it is going to be sunny.

The salt can be omitted on some weeds. Regular Dawn works well.
