Also ask at all the feed stores if you can put up a post or if they know anyone that may be interested.

Unfortunately, if you have too many requirements, you may have a hard time finding them a home. Once they leave your place, they are no longer yours. I hope you can find someone willing to take them in as pets, but it might be best if you just don't ask questions to whomever takes them.

Thanks, but I think the requirements are pretty reasonable...such as, They Are Not Food. If I can't find someone who won't eat them I'll just keep looking until I do.

Sorry I fall into the I have a dog, I do not let her out when the ducks are free roaming, since she thinks my juvenile Muscovy is a chase toy. She didn't try to attack it, just chased it. She leaves the older ones alone. Downfall for me is i am finding Pekins to be a loud breed. My one female is super loud. Not to mention not sure I would be able to take all 5. The drake to hen ratio is off, and in a couple of months the drakes could over mate or become aggressive.

For anyone who posts wanting free animals ducks etc. I would have to go where they live and check them out make sure they are on the up an up. I see ads here like that too.

Thanks for being honest about your dog, I appreciate that. My ducks survived a dog attack so I'd like them to remain stress free as possible.
