Try Rat X it's safe around livestock, & other animals.The problem is if a rat consumes it then the cat catches that rat it can kill the cat we've lost a cat due to a neighbor using rat poison I can't risk losing another cat to poison

I know it's always possible for that to happen again but I could never use poison myself
