I had 10 make it out of 19 past last candling. 1 has hatched, another is Pipped and starting to zip, 4 others are rocking. I have poly VI sol vitamins without iron and I have a vitamin electrolyte mix. I have a few other things like oregano oil and apple cider vinegar and wound stuff. What else do I need?

wry neck is very common in chicks especially silkies. one of my silkie chicks has wry neck. I know there we had to treat our last batch of chicks with Corid, can't remember why . look up first aid kits for chickens it will probably be cheaper to buy the individual vitamins than the package. you most likely will need VetRX. To treat Wry neck you will need Poly VI Sol without iron, Selenium and Vitamin E.

Making sure you parent stock has good nutrition will alleviate wry neck issues.

And I'm sorry, but vet rx is essentially vick's vapor rub and hogwash IMHO. I've read the ingredients.

Only time I EVER suffered wry neck in chicks was if they were shipped and spent 4 days in the box. My flock get 20% protein flock raiser with oyster shell on the side. Higher protein has been shown to give better hatches in case I didn't already mention it, though I'm sure I probably have.

I will usually play a video of baby chicks chirping with the volume all the way up. It encourages them to hatch. I played mine came back 10 minutes later and 3 had pipped. Hope it works!!

We have had 5 hatch over the last week and 2 that didn't hatch....died in the shell. The last one to hatch was today and she had to have help and is very tired. She absorbed all the yolk and everything, I went shopping, got a text from my daughter saying there was blood in the incubator and on the belly of the chick and I came home and chick seems ok bit doesnt look like she has pooped but is chirping and moving around.
