No Pupil?

this is gonna sound strange but one of my hens doesn't have a pupil. she does have one but it's very very small, almost not there, and it's more of a line not a circle. is this normal? has anyone else seen this?

the dark spot might look like a pupil but it's not, it's just a dark gray spot with a small pupil on the inside of the spot. the other eye is perfectly fine and prominent

We have one like that! We call her Pirate Chicken. She keeps that eye closed mostly. Her eye orb is completely yellow--no pupil at all. The vet said it was congential (she was born that way) and told us she would manage it fine by herself, there was nothing to do about it, but that she was probably completely blind in that eye. She's a Golden Comet (fyi)
