No, Seriously....

I thought Mr. Gore promised us "global warming" not cold weather. But what does he know about the weather he is a computer/electrical genious since he invented the internet (his words not mine).

The real problem is that people don't understand the difference between climate and weather. Climate is global, long term, weather is local, short term. Warming of the polar ice cap releases icy water into the lower areas, and cold moisture into the air, causing localized cold storms. So, there is no contradiction between global warming land local severe cold/snowy winters. Meanwhile, the polar warmth is killing off the penguin chicks. (it causes increased rains and unseasonable heat in the penguins environments, especially in Argentina).

As to inventing the internet, no, Gore didn't invent it, but he played a very critical role in pushing the Internet from a small, specialized tool for researchers into the global thing it is today.
Internet pioneers Vint Cerf and Bob Kahn noted that,
"as far back as the 1970s, Congressman Gore promoted the idea of high speed telecommunications as an engine for both economic growth and the improvement of our educational system. He was the first elected official to grasp the potential of computer communications to have a broader impact than just improving the conduct of science and scholarship [...] the Internet, as we know it today, was not deployed until 1983. When the Internet was still in the early stages of its deployment, Congressman Gore provided intellectual leadership by helping create the vision of the potential benefits of high speed computing and communication."

It's very popular to bash him; lots of pompous radio mouths are getting very rich by calling him pompous.
