Thimerisol (sodium ethylmercurithiosalicylate) has been in vaccinations since the 1930's. It is also used as an antifungal and anticeptic.

When introduced into the bloodstream it becomes an organic compound - ethylmercury, which does NOT accumulate in the body like inorganic mercury compounds. Ethylmercury is flushed from the body in roughly 18 days.

I totally agree with citychicks; you want to smoke fine with me but outside.

So what does Formaldahyde do when injected along with a vaccine?

The miniscule amounts of Formaldehyde convert to formic acid in the body; a naturallly occuring aldehyde formed during chemical synthesis. Formic acid is uced as a presevative and antifungal in hay silage, and is used to prevent salmonella in chicken eggs. Formic acid clears from the body relatively quickly.

So our own bodies produce more formaldehyde on our own, the miniscule amounts in vaccines will do nothing.

I would love to continue but I have to run to work.

Wildsky introduced me to e-cigarettes (not a fair name). I thank her every day for saving my life.

I think privately owned businesses should have the right to decide whether they allow smokers or not. Non smokers are free to decide if they want to go there.

Instead of complaining, give a smoker an address to a website: e-cigarette-forum.com . They can quit or cut down the easy way. Does it matter to you if a smoker picks an easy way of quitting?

Smokers-think of all the money you'll save.

My biggest gripe is with the government and pharmacutical companies- the government makes approx 34 BILLION a year off of smokers. They "say" they want you to quit, do you think they really do? They both support nicotine gum, patches, lozenges, etc, that have a 95% failure rate. Electronic cigarettes have a much better rate of success, somewhere around 70%. But the government doesn't make any money there.

These methods all supply nicotine in a much safer way. Nicotine is NOT what causes cancer and 400,000 smoking related deaths each year. It's inhaling BURNING TOBACCO, which has 40+ known carcinogens.

I have WHAT in my yard? :

I don't mean to stir the pot, really it is a genuine question: I see many many college kids who smoke. when I was a kid my mother was actually told to smoke when she was pregnant to ease her morning sickness! They either didn't know how bad it was or the tobacco companies were doing such a great job no one heard....

But, now everyone knows it is bad for you. Everyone knows it is expensive. So why do so many kids still pick up the habit? I am not getting on smokers for having an addiction, I just don't get why they picked that addiction up in the first place.

I could list alot of reasons, but I won't. My daughter started smoking when she was 14. I tried "just say no". I tried punishment. I tried common sense. None worked. I wish real hard that I had had an ecig to shove into her hands at the time. She's 30 now, and smokes 1 a day. Now she has an e-cig and uses that instead for her 1 a day. Her hubby, who smoked 1 1/2 packs a day is now smoking 3 cigarettes a day because he uses an e-cig now.

Oh thats great news Sem! I wish I had the $$ right now to buy my dad an e-pipe! He'd love it I'm sure. He likes to smoke his pipe after dinner, and I swear he wouldn't even notice a difference with the e-pipe if we could find a Liquid he liked.

I really love my e-cig, I feel so much better, healthier than I did 8 months ago. I must say thank YOU for pointing me to the Xhale, the battery lasts longer than a day - it rocks!

And taste soooo much better than cigarette smoke. I love tobacco flavor, caramel, vanilla, pear, blueberry, and my favorite, butterscotch. And the vapor has no smell or very little smell that's actually nice, and the vapor disappears right away.

I just had my teeth cleaned and they are so much whiter! And will stay that way.

I hunted at first for the perfect tobacco flavor, I never really found one I liked, but I soon fell for the fruity flavors and the spearmint. You need to try the Raspberry - OH its so yummy!

The apple is good too, but very mild tasting. ANd then there was the Dr.Pepper one I had, that was goooooooood!
Funny I'm a coffee drinker and haven't yet tried a coffee flavor... (add to the list)

I agree with no smoking inside of a restaurant. My father smokes and I hate trying to enjoy my food just to gag on his smoke. I made the decision not to smoke, so I shouldn't have to smell it. I do think the video link is a little odd. Since when can people not stand on sidewalk. I understand if they were there for an hour, but just smoking a cigarette? Sounds like the town is just trying to rack up some money from tickets...

Get him an e-cig for christmas, nobody else can smell it. There is no smoke only a vapor. I can "Vape" in the car and my hubby right next to me can't smell a thing!
