I hatched my first chick last night. Early this am, I took chick #1 out of the bator & put her in the brooder. At that time, another egg was peeping & moving. It's been at least 4 hours & I haven't heard any sounds or seen any movement since. It chirped like crazy when I took the chick out this morning, though. I checked for a pip, but there was nothing.
Is this normal or should I be concerned? This is a different breed from chick #1 and it has a thicker shell.
