I did some searching for my county/city for chickens and the only thing I found that could even pertain to chickens was:
Sec. 14-12. Livestock
No owner or custodian of livestock shall knowingly permit such livestock to run at large
or stray upon any public roads of this county or on any private property not belonging to
such owner or custodian unless by permission of the owner of such property.
So I'm assuming that I can have them as long as they are in a coop or fenced. Is my assumption correct or would one of you have a different interpretation of this?
