No toenails!?

I have a Polish chick I got has no toenails on one foot! What the heck?! Is this common? Is she going to be able to survive? Also, is this male or female..?

Some of my feather legged birds they are missing the toenail on the inside toe. Never heard of it on a clean legged bird though. Does it look like they got yanked out (blood, scabs, etc.) or did she hatch that way? She should be ok

Missing toenails shouldn't be a huge issue. She might not scratch as well as other chickens and you should probably keep an eye on the ends of those toes to make sure she doesn't tear them up.
