I can’t believe it. Another BO roo? This happened last time and the lady let me swap him for a “pullet” today I noticed little spurs starting to poke out. But at 5 months I figured the comb would be much more developed.

Even with that little spur-like thing sticking out? There’s also a redness to her legs. Someone told me roosters get that red looking “rash” when they start maturing.
Yes, she's a pullet even with those spur buds. I have a pullet that has the same sized spur buds as her same hatch date cockerel.
The flush of color is due to a hormone surge. She should start laying soon. Congrats!
