I love turkeys too. I had two Royal Palm for a very short while, a few years back. The male was not healthy, so we knowingly took a chance on him, hoping to 'nurse' him back to health, but were unsuccessful. The hen however, seemed absolutely fine, and then one morning, she was dead. No signs or symptoms of anything.

When I decided to get more birds, it was a toss up between trying a pair of turkeys again, or the geese.

Geese won!
