I am new to this site, so I hope I'm doing this right. I have 9 chickens,R.I. reds. I give my extra eggs to my friends. One of them told me she does not want them any more,I asked why,she said 2 of the eggs had no yoke in them.I have had chickens for years and had never seen that. What do you think? Is that possible. Thank You.

It is possible to have eggs without yolks ~ it is usually an "oops" in the egg production. Just tell your friend that they are special cholesterol free eggs or give them to those who appreciate nice fresh eggs.
