I have a really sweet, really friendly Silkie boy that I have to rehome due to local ordinance. Blue is a beautiful white male with blue skin. He is a beta male - quite, sweet and friendly. He blends right in with the rest of my girls and we actually thought that he was a girl, until he crowed - it was quiet and only happened once - but we cannot have roosters in our area. Blue is social. He is picked up and carried by my kids on a regular basis. He loves to free range in the backyard and has not ever showed any signs of aggression towards people or to any of our cats, dog or other hens. We think Blue is about 8 months old. He was removed from a cruelty case and had a bare butt for a month or two, but he is totally healthy and is fully feathered again.
Our only request is that Blue not be used as bait for fighting. I understand that he may be eaten, I would love for that not to happen for a few years, but I understand that is a possibility for him.
