They are out in numbers the last few weeks. We call them the "Roosters of the Night". Calling back and forth, super loud. Almost singing. Scores of them. We live in the boonies.I believe that's a barred owl.

That's cool. It's been months since we have heard or seen an owl. We have seen them in our trees and on our silo in summer, but too cold here to linger outside to listen at night.
