[Noel Kannagi]

Chapter I​

Noel Kannagi was a well built young woman. She had he hands behind her head and with a gasp pulled half her body weight up. "Fifty-five!" she said, then she relaxed on the cold tile floor. "Noel, will you get up and help me this basket, its heavy!" a woman shouted from down the hallway. She moaned at the thought but got up and pulled on a white T-Shirt. "I'm coming!" she shouted down the military base's main hallway. She ran in her bare feet down the hallway turned and nearly tripping over giggling. "Quit giggling and help me!" cried the woman barely into adulthood. Noel finally reached down and picked up the heavy basked and then helped her friend Lily up. "Ask someone before you carry a basket twice your weight" She said grinning. "Thanks a lot." grumbled Lily. so Noel ran down the hallway back to her room and took off her white T-Shirt and Jeans and took a short shower, then she changed into her green army uniform, then the old grandfather clock boomed down the length of the base, she brushed her White hair into a strait line and then walked out into the hallway. or intended to except she ran right into Master Sergeant Kanata (Ka-na-ta.) She stumbled backwards but Kanata grabbed her wrist and pulled her up. "Watch your step corporal." she said before smiling and embracing her sister in a hug. "when did you get in Kanata?" she asked her sister who had long white hair. she smiled and said "Late last night." and then she turned and walked back to the mess hall Noel followed into it where Lily was using ingredients from the heavy basket to make pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs, and was making some french toast. "Its good to have you back Sergeant." lily said and hugged her. (The women at the military base are practically a family.) Noel slipped by then and saw something that made her gasp. "Where did you get the maple syrup!" she nearly yelled, because maple syrup is rare at that point. Lily giggled and put a finger over her lips. which left noel with a grumpy face. but she sat down at the table where Cleo and Jessica walked in, and each of them took appointed seat, and as they did lily came out balancing plates on her head and hands, and then she stopped at her chair placed the plates down and slip each of them to the ends of the table and sat down. and then they eagerly began their breakfast at 8:00 AM On the dot.
