What suggestions are there for soundproofing the coop?

Insulation helps a lot. Tall privacy fencing, or Arborvitaes or other dense evergreens help too. Holly would be another green option. We used foam board, covered in wood paneling to keep the chickens from eating it. It's a steel building, I think we would have gotten better sound proofing through wood construction with more space for a thicker insulation.
