Noisy Silkie

I have a problem with my silkie hen. every day, she will start squaking, even if there is no danger or she didn't lay or there's no food or anything like that. Then, all the other chickens will join here and it will last for about half an hour. Why does she go like that?

Some chickens are just noisier than others. My first to do that was a BO, and I tried everything to shut her up at first - I'd go out and throw scratch for them or offer other treats, but it would only work temporarily. While she was scarfing the scratch she'd be quiet but as soon as she'd had her fill, she'd start up again. Eventually I got used to it and tuned it out as background noise. She really doesn't do it any more - perhaps they outgrow it as they mature.
