I have a silkie who was broody and sat on a clutch and raised a great chick for about 4 months. Is it possible that she would tend to my new 4 day old chicks?

No, only if she has been broody will she raise a chick for you. Depending on the hen.....some need to brood for most of the 21 days before they'll raise chicks (they don't know exactly when 21 days have passed but seem to have some idea of the correct amount of time needed). A seasoned mother might be willing to raise chicks if given them in less time than the 21, but it is a very individual thing. However a hen who is not broody will not adopt chicks to raise.
