Non crowing rooster

I was recently given a young rooster for my 2 hens. It took him about 3 days to acclimate to his new surroundings. He crowed early in the morning and all day long. We have had him for about 2 months and he all of a sudden stopped crowing. He seems less active, only picking at food, not scratching, and seems to be in a fog. His eyes look good, no cough, no mucous, feet and comb look good. I am puzzled. I was told it could be the weather but I doubt it. We always have this sort of weather.... grey, damp, rainy. We live in Coastal Oregon. Any advise????

Please do follow up with another post to the ER forum with some good pictures of your rooster from a distance far enough to show his general stance as well as close ups of his face on both sides. He is definitely not feeling well. Good luck with him.
