Saw a really weird poop this morning, I'm so bummed i didn't have my phone so no pic of that one. Appeared to be a dark cecal surrounded by clear egg white looking stuff, maybe 2 to 3 tablespoons worth. Baby Cochin was heading right for it so cleaned it up before it ended up frozen to his fluffy feet.

Another similar just now, little more opaque but this one was already frozen solid. Everyone looks fine. Heated nipple waterer x2, fermented all flock plus scratch and peck grower. Dry pellets free choice, needed since the FF is freezing fast.

I have some 18-19 week old pullets that roost by the specimen from overnight. No one laying yet. Two are looking close. Maybe. Pinker larger combs, wider stance.

If you don’t notice anything abnormal about them, it could just be a once in a while kind of not right poop. If they don’t seem sick and they don’t continue to poop strange poops then they’re probably fine.

That yellowish stuff I'm sure was crystal clear before freezing like this mornings version. I guess it caught my attention because they are close to laying age and it looked so much like egg white.
