Mom had her sayings.
"Getting old is not a sin,
but acting old is."

One that now strikes home
"Getting old - not for sissies."
Pain is not my friend.

The worst ageing part:
"So many that you care for
are already gone."

Melancholy day.
Tomorrow will be better.
Sunshine lifts spirits.

I now realize
that aging's not my problem.
It's those side effects!
